On Saturday, Scouting America and the Conquistador Council awarded National Outstanding Eagle Scout Awards (NOESA) to two local leaders, radio personality Mike “Winters” Sisson and former Roswell City Councilor Steve Henderson, during a ceremony at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell.

According to a press release from the Conquistador Council, which administers Scouting America in seven counties in southeastern New Mexico, the NOESA is a prestigious recognition awarded to Eagle Scouts who have demonstrated distinguished service at the local, state and regional level well beyond their time as youth members.
