UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. — The Michigan Tech Huskies soccer team endured three goals in each half in a rainy and windy GLIAC showdown at the Robert C. Braddock Field, falling 6-0 to Saginaw Valley State on Sunday.

Saginaw Valley State (8-3-2, 6-2-1 GLIAC) completed the season series sweep of the Huskies, now on a four-game win streak, scoring at least four goals in three of those games.

“Soccer can be a really cruel sport and we were on the wrong side of it today. I feel like we started the game by controlling the tempo and possession, especially in the first 20 minutes,” Huskies coach Melissa Kuhar said. “But giving up three goals in the first half killed our energy and we came out flat to start the second.
