Police in NSW have issued a warning about jet-ski safety after a string of incidents over the last two days.
Public concerns have grown after two people were injured in a jet ski crash in Sydney's south last night.
At around 5pm yesterday, Marine Police arrived at waters off Brighton Le Sands after reports that two jet skis had collided.
Upon arrival, police were told that four people were in the water after being ejected from the vessels.
A 23-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman who were on the same jet ski were treated on the scene by paramedics.
The pair were taken to St George Hospital for treatment.
The woman sustained serious leg injuries and has undergone surgery. The man has since been discharged from hospital.
