Police are investigating two fatal crashes — one in WA’s north-east and one in the State’s south — over the past two days.

On Monday, a 50-year-old male sustained critical injuries when his Toyota Hilux left Menzies-Sandstone Road and rolled about 3.45pm.

The male passenger died at the scene, while a 15-year-old and 40-year-old male were treated at the crash scene for minor injuries.

The second crash occurred about 5.35am on Tuesday, when a Hyundai Tuscon collided with a Toyota Hilux in Mungalup.

Police said the two vehicles were travelling opposite directions on Mungalup Drive when they collided head-on.

The 34-year-old female driver of the Hyundai was declared dead at the scene.

The two men in the Toyota were taken to Bunbury with non-life-threatening injuries.
