The Indy-area high school football power rankings going into sectional play with one player to watch from each team with this week’s list:

Class 6A

Brownsburg (9-0): Senior outside linebacker Saik Diallo returned from a knee injury to record 27 tackles, six tackles for loss and three sacks this season. He also has a TD catch. Brownsburg plays at Pike (3-6) next week in Sectional 5. Brownsburg defeated Hamilton Southeastern 35-7 to finish the regular season. Previous: 1.

Carmel (8-1): Carmel survived a tough effort from Lawrence Central for a 36-33 victory. Senior running back Andrew Pemberton (961 rushing yards, 11 TDs) is closing in on a 1,000-yard season. The Greyhounds open at home against Harrison (West Lafayette) next week in Sectional 3. Previous: 2.
