Nine of the 10 suburbs hardest hit by natural disasters in the last three years are in Queensland, according to data from insurance giant Suncorp.
The findings are based on 45,000 claims lodged across the country from Suncorp and the other insurers it owns.
The top four suburbs are all on the Gold Coast.
Upper Coomera takes pole position, followed by Helensvale, Tamborine Mountain and Coombabah.
Redland Bay east of Brisbane is at number five, followed by another four Gold Coast suburbs, Oxenford, Paradise Point, Runaway Bay and Mudgeeraba.
Rounding out the top 10 is Banora Point, which is just over the border in the Tweed shire of NSW.
