OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Temperatures are in the 40s this morning with just enough wind to drop the wind chills into the 30s in a few spots. Wind gusts will be a huge factor to the day as they pick up quickly this morning. Gusts of 35-45 mph are very much in play the majority of the day.
Thankfully we’ll have abundant sunshine all day help it to look and feel better out there. Highs in the upper 50s will end up being the coolest day so far this season.
All the focus then turns to the chilly temps and the first widespread frost of the season. Prepare tonight by covering plants or bringing them inside. Tomorrow morning is a First Alert 6 Weather Day due to that first widespread frost.
We’ll rebound quickly that morning and enjoy a great afternoon. Highs in the mid 60s are likely.
