A second man has been charged with murder following the death of Macauley Branighan. Samuel Tweddle, 22, is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, October 21.
He is accused of the 27-year-old's alleged killing after he died in hospital on Wednesday, October 15. He has been additionally charged with possession of a knife or sharply bladed article in a public place.
Tweddle, of Kimblesworth Walk, Stockton, is the second man charged in connection with Mr Branighan's death. Stephen Ward, 25, of Tithe Barn Road, Stockton, appeared before Teesside Magistrates' Court on Friday, October 17, charged with murder.
