A Teesside children's hospice has welcomed a Government announcement of £80m funding as a 'momentous decision'. The Government has announced the £26m formerly known as the Children’s Hospice Grant will be extended for three years in England resulting in £80m support for children's hospices over three years.

One of those to benefit will be Teesside's Zoe's Place Baby Hospice which was founded in 1995. The charity is committed to caring for babies and children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, giving families a place to turn when they need it most.
