PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - A Peoria County resident accused of child pornography has been released from jail before his trial, but the suspect will have to comply with several conditions.

Rose Magnus, 26, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 16 after a four-month investigation that led to a search of his home in Bellevue.

Peoria County Sheriff’s detectives said Magnus admitted receiving and distributing images and video of child porn on Kik, Telegram, Dropbox, and Session social media accounts.

Associate Judge Mark Gilles on Monday set several conditions for Magnus’ release. They include forbidding Magnus from having unsupervised contact with minors, a 7 p.m. curfew, and only using social media for classes Magnus is taking at a community college.
