With countless counties offering scenic walks, beaches, and cosy cottages, deciding where to go can be tricky. New research from Dog Friendly Cottages has now revealed which Scottish destinations top the list for cold-weather getaways with dogs. ‌

The study analysed 25 UK counties, scoring them out of 100 for pet-friendly cottage prices, pub meal costs, dog-friendly beaches and attractions, walking trails, and public review scores. ‌

The results provide a data-driven guide to the UK’s best dog-friendly destinations, with Scotland’s natural beauty standing out.
