A new £25 million West Bromwich dairy factory which will produce enough milk to fill 200 Olympic-sized swimming pools is nearing completion.

At least 200 new jobs will be created when Freshways' state-of-the-art facility is at full production, enabling the UK's biggest independent dairy supplier to pasteurise and package almost 900 million pints per year.

Freshways is also backing West Midlands Mayor Richard Parker's Youth Employment Plan with students, particularly those studying engineering, 'critical' to their future plans.
