MINNEAPOLIS — A Minneapolis business is recovering from damage after a man allegedly threw firebombs through the window both Sunday and Monday.
Minneapolis police arrested a man accused of throwing lit Molotov cocktails at Fletcher's Ice Cream & Cafe on Sunday around 11 p.m. and Monday around 1 p.m. The business had a broken window with burn marks near the front entrance.
The ice cream shop was closed at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported.
Police arrested the suspect around 4 p.m. on Monday, according to a police press release. Officers are investigating with help from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms (ATF) and Explosives, the Minneapolis Behavioral Threat Assessment Team and the MFD Arson Investigations Unit.
