MECHANICVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Months after his three-year anniversary as Superintendent of the Mechanicville Central School District, Kevin Kolakowski has announced he is stepping down from the position. His last day will be November 24, 2025.

Kolakowski has been a part of the district for nearly 16 years, holding leadership positions like principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent. He was appointed to the superintendent position in May 2022.
