Launching a scathing attack on the opposition, BJP MP Dinesh Sharma said on Tuesday that the Mahagathbandhan is on the verge of collapse even before it is formed.

Speaking to ANI, Sharma accused the main Opposition party in the State, Rashtriya Janata Dal, of being casteist and communal.

“RJD is both casteist and communal. Its entire political agenda is spent vilifying other castes and inciting conflict between Hindus and Muslims,” he said.

He also claimed that the RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s charisma had faded.

“They (RJD) lack a political agenda. The ‘Mahagathbandhan’ is on the verge of collapse even before it’s formed… Everyone knows that Tejashwi’s charisma has faded. Now, the only person who will be successful is Nitish Kumar,” Sharma said.
