A popular Australian content creator will be sentenced next week after he threatened to decapitate his mum during a disturbing TikTok livestream.

Turan Salis, 23, was arrested in July after the video was sent to his mother Amanda, who then called police out of fear for her safety.

Salis, who is known as “Turan Spidey” on social media, was charged with threatening to kill and pleaded guilty in Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

It is a massive fall from grace for Salis who had amassed almost 400,000 followers on TikTok, where his videos have been viewed almost 25 million times.

He rose to fame on social media in 2021 while making sheep shearing videos.
