A 13-year-old boy was arrested Monday and faces multiple charges after what police called a "joyride" in his mother’s Chevrolet Tahoe that reached speeds of more than 100 mph, went airborne at times and collided with a railing outside a business, Gilbert authorities said.
The Mesa Police Department’s air unit, known as Falcon, spotted the Tahoe just before 1:50 a.m. Oct. 20 speeding near North Higley and East Elliot roads in Gilbert.
