APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) - Police in Appleton are reporting that a partnership with the U.S. Marshals Service has led to the recent arrest of two men for 1st-degree sexual assault of a child.

According to a release from the Appleton Police Department, officers, along with U.S. Marshals, arrested both 33-year-old Cody J. Williquette and 42-year-old Michael L. Walls in the last week on multiple counts of 1st-degree sexual assault of a child.

In addition to the mentioned arrests, the Appleton Police Department also partnered with the U.S. Marshals Service to find and bring a wanted sex offender who had been evading arrest into police custody.
