Kenny Loggins isn’t pleased that President Donald Trump used one of his songs in an AI-generated video.
The two-time Grammy winner has demanded that Trump remove his 1986 hit “Danger Zone” from a “No Kings” video the president posted to Truth Social on Saturday, Oct. 18.
Clearly invoking “Top Gun,” for which “Danger Zone” was written, the clip showed Trump piloting a fighter jet and dumping what appeared to be fecal matter on demonstrators who gathered to protest his administration’s policies. In response, Loggins sent a statement to USA TODAY on Monday objecting the use of the song.
“This is an unauthorized use of my performance of ‘Danger Zone.’ Nobody asked me for my permission, which I would have denied,” Loggins told the outlet. “I request that my recording on this video
