AKRON, Ohio — Akron police are investigating after a shooting Monday evening left one man with two gunshot wounds, another grazed by a bullet and three homes struck.
Police say it was around 9:03 p.m. when officers responded to the scene at the intersection of Seiberling Street and Canadian Avenue.
Upon their arrival, police found a 21-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his leg and shoulder. Officers applied a tourniquet and rendered aid until paramedics arrived.
He was taken to an area hospital where police say his injuries are not life-threatening.
“Officers also discovered that a 31-year-old man was grazed by a bullet as he was sitting on a couch inside a residence in the 600 block of Seiberling Street,” according to a press release from Akron police. “He was treated on scene and
