CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — For Cleveland area chef Brandon Chrostowski, the kitchen is only part of his mission. His next stop? Ukraine — for the fourth time since the country's war with Russia began .
"We're trying to close down a project: rebuilding a children's hospital," Chrostowski said Tuesday.
That hospital has been at the heart of his work overseas, and now, thanks to donors back home, it's nearly complete.
Chrostowski set out to raise $25,000 to finish the project, but ended up collecting $35,000, enough to expand his outreach beyond bricks and mortar.
"Anything over will go to the rehabilitation center or orphanage," he told 3News. "I mean, there's plenty of need."
This trip will last eight days, and for the first time, Chrostowski is bringing his two children along. Togeth
