FFA students in Panhandle celebrated a financial boost to help them compete in FFA nationals in Indianapolis, during a check presentation held Monday, Oct. 20, at Panhandle High School.

Both Panhandle and Canyon FFA students received funding of $2,000 from AgTexas Farm Credit Services to help them cover costs for the event.

Those honored in Canyon and Panhandle high schools include students who participate in meat judging, wildlife management, veterinary science, public speaking, social media management, leadership development, community service, and raising animals for local and regional junior livestock shows.

Other people attending the Panhandle event were representatives of AgTexas Farm Credit Services, Panhandle High School and Panhandle FFA.
