Rangers CEO Patrick Stewart has suggested that they 'made mistakes' in their appointment of Russell Martin.

After looking set to appoint former boss Steven Gerrard and ex-player Kevin Muscat, Rangers have announced Danny Rohl as their new manager .

Rohl, who earlier ruled himself out of contention for the job, arrives three months after he left Sheffield Wednesday, and at a club who sit sixth in the Scottish Premiership.

The German conducted his first press conference alongside Stewart, chairman Andrew Cavenagh and sporting director Kevin Thelwell.
