UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — On Oct. 15, the Prince George’s County Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive Division carried out a large-scale operation to arrest 83 people who were wanted for violent and non-violent offenses regarding domestic violence-related crimes. They were supported by Prince George’s County Police Department, Maryland State Police and other local police agencies.

“The message is simple: we will not tolerate domestic violence in our county, and no matter where you are, we will find you,” said Prince George’s County Sheriff John D.B. Carr.

During the operation, there were 195 people that had open warrants and 83 apprehensions. Ninety warrants were also closed and eight protective orders served after respondents were apprehended.
