OWEN COUNTY, Ind. -- Police have arrested an Owen County man accused of child molesting, distributing child sex abuse material and other felony counts related to child sex crimes.

According to court documents, Charles May has been preliminarily charged with the following: • Two counts of Child Molesting (Level 4 Felony) • Child Solicitation (Level 5 Felony) • Sexual Misconduct with a Minor (Level 5 Felony) • Performing Sexual Conduct in the presence of a Minor (Level 6 Felony) • Displaying Matter Harmful to Minors (Level 6 Felony) • Intimidation (Level 6 Felony) • Distribution of an intimate Image (Class A Misdemeanor)

Police began investigating May on July 15 when a representative with the Owen County Department of Child Services filed a report with Indiana State Police. T
