(NEXSTAR) — Just a day after errors in Amazon cloud services caused a massive internet outage, retail and pharmacy chain CVS was reportedly experiencing its own system outage on Tuesday that is keeping customers from picking up prescriptions and getting COVID tests.
In response to a user on X asking "how long CVS' system has been down," the company said that it is "experiencing a known system outage."
"We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and can assure you that we are diligently working on restoring service," the post, made shortly after 12:30 p.m. ET, added.
CVS did not immediately respond to Nexstar's request for additional information, and it's unclear if the outage is related to Monday's AWS issue.
