Two legends of the game with ties to Toronto have weighed in on Monday’s big Blue Jays win over the Seattle Mariners .

One of the greatest pitchers in the history of baseball and one of the game’s all-time best hitters were amongst those taking to social media to congratulate Toronto on the historic win.

Frank Thomas, a two-time AL MVP and first-ballot Hall of Fame selection in 2014, is rightly remembered as a Chicago White Sox legend, since he starred there for 16 of his 19 MLB seasons, but he also spent parts of two years with Toronto.

Thomas, who starred in a memorable commercial as a Jay , clearly enjoyed his time in Toronto and took to X to express his happiness at this team’s win.
