PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – After winning their appeal to federalize the Oregon National Guard, the Trump administration has filed a motion to remove another order that also stopped the president from sending troops from other states to Portland.

Prior to the appeals court decision, lawyers for the administration said they would immediately seek a stay on the second temporary restraining order (TRO) that barred California and Texas troops from being deployed in Oregon.

“We can then immediately go to the district court, and say in light of that… The district court should dissolve that second TRO, because the second TRO rests on the exact same basis as the first,” Attorney Eric McArthur said.
