1Union County scratch-off winner hits $5K a month for life jackpot worth $1.5 million

Hillside, NJ – A lucky scratch-off ticket bought at a Liberty Avenue convenience store just secured one Union County player a lifetime of cash, winning $5,000 a month for the next 25 years in the $3 Win for Life! game.

The winning ticket, sold at Speedy Mart at 1175 Liberty Avenue in Hillside, marked the third and final top prize for the game. In total, the prize adds up to $1.5 million over 25 years. The winner has the option to take the prize in annual installments or as a one-time lump sum of $875,200.

The win was officially recorded on Oct. 15 and continues a streak of major scratch-off victories in the Garden State.
