Gastonia Police are looking for a driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run on Oct. 19, 2025.
GASTONIA, NC – Police in Gastonia are looking for a driver who hit two people and took off.
The hit-and-run happened around 12:40 a.m. on Sunday, October 19th, on Garrison Boulevard at Yates Street.
One of the people who got hit, Cody Cochran, died from his injuries.
Police are looking for a dark blue or black car seen pulling up to the traffic light at the intersection right before the crash.
