(NewsNation) — Food Network’s Kate Lee Biegel, who co-hosted the weekend talk show “The Kitchen,” is speaking about the long-running show’s cancellation.

"It's the end of an era. Thank you so much to all our fans," Biegel wrote on her Instagram Stories. "'The Kitchen’ was the greatest professional honor of my life and I will be forever grateful.”

Food Network canceled the show Monday after a decade on air.

Sources told Variety that the network has been evaluating its programming and resources for 2026, as Warner Bros. Discovery barrels ahead with plans to split up its linear channels from streaming services.
