Brad Marchand is eager to make his return to Boston and play in front of the fans.

Marchand was the Bruins captain for two seasons and played for the organization for parts of 16 years. He was a fan-favorite, and on Tuesday, Marchand and the Florida Panthers will play the Bruins in Boston.

It will be Marchand’s first game back at TD Garden since being traded. Ahead of his return, a reporter asked Marchand about the best part of the city, and he responded quickly.

“The fans, for sure,” Marchand said to reporters on Monday. “I mean, hockey-wise, the city is incredible. I’ve lived in a bunch of different areas around here, and the city’s incredible, but the fans make it awesome. They’re just very unique.
