One person has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Calgary’s northeast Tuesday afternoon.

Calgary police say it happened just before 12:30 p.m. on Martindale Drive NE.

Officers responded to the area for reports of an assault with a weapon.

Investigators say the victim is in stable condition.

There are currently no suspects in custody, but police believe the victim and offender knew each other.
