Here’s an event that provides a wide selection of California native plants and seeds and teaches you how to best grow them. The local Riverside-San Bernardino chapter of the California Native Plant Society is holding their annual plant sale and celebration on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Riverside-Corona Resource Conservation District (RCRCD), 4500 Glenwood Drive in Riverside during the RCRCD-sponsored event.

Roving experts can provide help with plant selection and lawn alternatives. In addition, the RCRCD is hosting lectures for gardeners and farmers on habitat gardening for butterflies and pollinators, and plant care.
