SHREVEPORT, La. -- A Shreveport man struck and killed by a passing vehicle on U.S. Highway 80 at Greenwood Road late Monday has been identified by the Caddo Parish Coroner's office.

Dwayne Kinchen, 37, died at Ochsner LSU Health hospital at 10 p.m. He had been taken there following his injury that happened just before 9:20 p.m.

He was positively identified through fingerprint comparison.

The death remains under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department.
