Starting shooting guard Coby White , their leading scorer from the previous year, has been dealing with a calf issue since August, which has slowed the team’s and his own ramp-up. In a recent presser, Giddey admitted , “I mean, it sucks anytime any player is out. You never want to see a player injured, and I’ve been through it myself.
