We are giving you the FIRST ALERT to a short stretch of quiet weather.

Despite seeing a few splash and dash showers in Eastern Kentucky, the majority of us stayed dry with highs in the 60s and 70s.

We will see another front swing through, which will drop the temperatures with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s for Wednesday, Thursday and even into Friday.

Some places Thursday Night, into Friday Morning may wake up to some patchy frost.

In terms of rainfall, all will be quiet until we get into the weekend.

We will go back into the mid 60s, but shower chances ramp up Saturday, a rumble of thunder or two is possible Sunday and even into the day on Monday.

Then we go into next week where all eyes are on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
