YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- The start of the Youngstown State men’s basketball season is upon us with the Penguins gearing up for an exhibition game against Akron next week.
"Something both fanbases can get excited about that the game is going to be really, really good for the development of our team," YSU head coach Ethan Faulkner said. "Regardless of the outcome, we're going to be able to take take things from that game and learn from them and make our team better."
The Penguins will host the defending Mid-American Conference champion Zips on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at home.
"So we really, really need Youngstown to be here, our community, our supporters to be here at this game because our the ticket sales from the game is going to go back into our program and really benefit us from that sta
