A woman is dead after a shooting at Airport Road and Queen Street E. in Brampton, police say.

In a post on X, formerly Twi tter, Peel police say they received a call just before 2 p.m.

Police say the woman was treated by paramedics, but died of her injuries.

No suspect information was immediately available.
