A 34-year-old Kitchener man faces impaired charges after a public call to OPP South-West Oxford.

OPP said on Oct. 12, at approximately 7 a.m., Oxford OPP were dispatched along Highway 401 after a vehicle was reportedly being driven erratically.

Officers stopped the vehicle, charging the driver with operation while impaired — alcohol, operation while impaired — blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), and dangerous operation.

OPP handed the man a 90-day license suspension and a seven-day vehicle impound. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in a Woodstock court on Nov. 25.
