As high school gymnastics in Colorado enters its postseason, the young Loveland team is optimistic about its opportunities over the next 2 1/2 weeks.
The Red Wolves will travel to Mountain Range on Wednesday for their league meet before they compete in their regional meet Oct. 30 at Overland. At regionals, they will be competing for a chance to qualify for the state meet Nov. 7-8 at Thornton High School.
Loveland, which is made up of gymnasts from Loveland, Berthoud, Resurrection Christian, Greeley Central, Windsor and Frontier Academy, finished up its regular season with a tri-meet against Broomfield and Roosevelt last Wednesday. The squad is now focused on the bigger meets ahead.
