A second suspect has been arrested in connection with an investigation into the discovery of the body of a 22-year-old woman in Niagara Falls last week.

On Oct. 14, Niagara Regional Police were called to a parking lot in the area of Main and Ferry streets for a report of a sudden death.

Police said the investigation was turned over to the homicide unit, and that one person had been arrested. The cause of death is still under investigation.

At the time, police said, they arrested a 43-year-old Niagara Falls man, charging him with indignity to a body.

Police also identified a second suspect wanted for the same offence as Ryan Maeder, 38, of Niagara Falls. On Monday, police released his photo, and on Tuesday he was arrested at about noon after he went to police headquarters in Niagara Fal
