Concern growing in Vermont over SNAP benefits amidst federal shutdown

As the federal government shutdown persists into its fourth week, many are growing increasingly worried about the availability of food benefits come November.

“We really don’t know anything definitive,” said Anore Horton, executive director of Hunger Free Vermont, this week.
