Srinagar, Oct 21: Glowing ribute were paid to noted poet ,writer and translator Assad – ullah -Assad on his first death anniversary at an impressive literary event , organised by Jammu and Kashmir Art ,culture and lanuages in coordination with Kashmir Concern Foundation (KCF) at Borwa ,in central kashmir Budgam, on Tuesday.

On this occasion, one more poetry book “ Cham no mai mashaani ” of late Assad- ullah-Assad was also released. The book marks thirteenth publication authored by late Assad.

Highlighting the contribution of Late Assad- ullah in promoting and preserving the Kashmiri language and literature, patron of the kashmir concern foundation,Adv. Abdul Rashid Hanjura said that late Assad was the first to translate 340 shruks (verses of Kalami shiekh ul Alam ( RA) into persian
