EAST LANSING – A hearty homecoming crowd was so disappointed in the performance, Michigan State entered the locker room at halftime to a shower of boos.

It didn’t get any better after the break as starting quarterback Aidan Chiles was knocked out of the game and UCLA scored 38 straight points in a dominant performance two weeks ago.

Although the game was basically already over, Nick Marsh didn’t quit. The sophomore worked his way behind the line of scrimmage and across the field before hauling in a 5-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter of a 38-13 loss. No celebration, just a walk back to the sideline.
