BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — A man faces multiple charges after a traffic stop on Interstate 40 revealed a concealed weapon and suspected drugs, according to the Burke County Sheriff's Office .

55-year-old Steven Allen Little of Clarement was arrested Oct. 15 after a deputy stopped a Nissan truck entering the I-40 East ramp from South Center Street. The deputy conducted the stop after reportedly observing suspicious behavior and determining the vehicle displayed a fictitious license plate, according to a news release.

Little had a suspended license and could not provide valid registration or proof of insurance, the release stated. A second deputy arrived to assist with the investigation.
