(WJET/WFXP)-- Pennsylvania election officials are reminding voters there's not much time left to fill out and return a mail-in ballot application for this fall's election, urging voters to get them done as soon as possible.

Pennsylvania Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt reminded voters Tuesday that they have one week until the Oct. 28 deadline to get their mail-in ballot applications in either online or in person.

Those applications are for the Nov. 4 general election and must be turned in by 8 p.m. at your local election office on Election Day in order to be counted. Ballots turned in after then, even if dated for a day they were eligible, will not be counted.
