SUMTER, S.C. (WIS) - Authorities have arrested two Sumter County men on multiple drug charges after searching a residence on Brand Street.
Perry Sherrod Taft, 65, was charged with possession of marijuana, trafficking crack cocaine and trafficking cocaine.
Marquis Quintell Durant, 37, was charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a machine gun and two counts of a felon in possession of a firearm.
A search warrant was allegedly executed by officers with the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, the Sumter Police Department and the FBI-Columbia office at Taft and Durant’s home on Oct. 9.
