(FOX40.COM) — California's governor announced on Tuesday that California's cannabis enforcement efforts led to the seizure and eradication of over $222 million in illegal marijuana in the third quarter of 2025. • Video above: 2024 California cannabis market outlook report

Gov. Gavin Newsom said the efforts that led to the seizure were of illegal cannabis from July to September. Partners across state government, a part of the California Unified Cannabis Enforcement Taskforce, worked together to seize illegal cannabis, plants and firearms from unlawful cannabis operations across California.
