BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - A local app has won the Mandan Business Pitch Challenge.
Pronto Chore launched in July.
Co-founder Vaughn Deinhart wants the app to be a local version of Uber, but for chores.
The goal is to save people and businesses time by hiring out errands, home tasks, office cleaning or furniture assembly.
Right now, the app has more than 40 workers signed up.
“I kind of manage all of the workers and vet them and make sure they have the background and skill necessary to complete the jobs at a very high level,” said Deinhart.
For winning the business challenge, Pronto Chore will receive a $10,000 forgivable loan from the Mandan Growth Fund to expand its service in the city.
You can find Pronto Chore on the Google Play and App stores.
